Tainted Rose
Project365 Frame 107
This is another proof that you can add more drama or even intensify the dramatic effect in a black and white photograph. You can clearly see the interplay of light and shade. This photo of a rose that is not yet fully bloomed was originally in color but when I convert it to black and white you can see that the original pinkish color of the petals was transformed into white. With some imperfections on some of its petals, it seemed like the white rose was tainted with something dark. Well, you can actually interpret this in any way you want.
